Rasikananda: Remuna, Gopiballabhpur

Adventures of Kisora Prabhu, trying to make photos for the new edition of Rasikananda.

I have visited Remuna and Gopiballabhpur. I have taken photos of the samadhi and murti of Sri Rasikananda Prabhu in Remuna.

In Gopivallabhpur I could not make any photos. I came there on Sunday morning and I had to go back to Mayapur in the afternoon since I had to be back for school on Monday. To be able to go I decided to have the test for my Sanskrit students on Monday and gave them two free days to prepare, Friday and Saturday.

I met with the present mahant Krishna Keshavananda Dev Goswami. He asked if I could stay one more day since he could not prepare Rasikananda Prabhu's paraphernalia on the same day. I had talked to him quite some time and many times I mentioned if he could still do it but he did not really respond to the request. At first I tried to speak whatever I know Bengali and Hindi - the pujari whom I met first told me that the maharaja does not speak any English. Later on (after I struggled to understand some finer details of what Maharaja was speaking) I found out that he spoke enough English for me to understand him. He showed me your Rasikananda book and the article in the BTG on Gopivallabhpur. He said that by Caitanya Mahaprabhu's mercy and Your Holiness' book the glories of Rasikananda are spread throughout the world.
He fondly remembers Your Holiness' visit to Gopivallabhpur. He narrated some details of your visit and that you speak Bengali very nicely.

He gave me his mobile phone number and told me to call him before coming. He told me to invite Your Holiness to visit Gopivallabhpur on his behalf.
